My name is Wesley Newton (I also go by "Figgy" or "Fig"). My intent for this website is to tell you, the reader, more about me and some of my hobbies. I have recently completed my Associate's degree in Computer Technology and am about to begin working towards a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity.

Learning more about information technology and networking
I am passionate about learning more about computers and networking, and have been since my dad brought home his first Windows 95 computer for us! Since then I have always been fascinated with anything related to computers, how they work and how they communicate.
Amateur Photography
My wife enjoys traveling to some very scenic places across the world. This affords me the ability to take some outstanding pictures! While the pictures I take pale in comparison to seeing the sights in person, I enjoy trying to capture as much of the beauty as I can!
Entertaining some goofy dogs
I have three large dogs, each with their own crazy personalities. I enjoy spending time with them, teaching them tricks and playing with them. My three dogs are Lexie (a lab mix), Samson (a Germen Shepherd) and Maggie (a German Shepherd / Belgian Malinois mix).
